Edit Labels and Exclusion Reasons
Ability to rename, delete, and merge labels and exclusion reasons. Badly needed!
@email@example.com, you can use the same process to remove a preconfigured exclusion reason.
firstname.lastname@example.org thank you but in fact i would like to remove the pre-configured reasons in rayyan, to avoid a large and useless list (to me), which takes time to find what i want. I don't want to delete one that I created and include in a record
@Lynn, you can remove a label or an exclusion reason by clicking in the respective field, scrolling down to the bottom and then selecting the one you wish to remove. That label or exclusion reason will then no longer be attached to that abstract. Then you can apply the correct label or exclusion reason, if desired.
However, if you have a label or reason you wish to edit after having applied it to a lot of abstracts, you must go through the process of removing and reapplying the new label or reason for each abstract. There is no way to simply edit that label or reason and have it newly applied to all the abstracts it is currently associated with. It is possible to select multiple abstracts and do the remove/reapply process, but unfortunately Rayyan is pretty jumpy in that regard and I have had very poor success with making changes in batches like that of more than 3-5 abstracts at a time.
Hope this helps.
So I have just started using Rayyan and I accidentally assigned a label to a paper which I actually want to include. I can include the paper, but I can't see how to now remove that label. is it not possible??
What? We cannot edit the labels we put in?
I concur. Love Rayyan's functionality and layout. However, there needs to be more flexbility when it comes to assigning, editing, and removing 'Labels' and 'Reasons'. Please add this functionality - it's tremendously frustrating in it's current form.
Please make this happen - it's driving me crazy as I have to tag every article with notes otherwise.
